What an amazing decade it has been for L’Officiel Singapore, which has ascended in the world of publishing to become Asia’s most provocative luxury fashion magazine and a hotly followed title internationally.
To celebrate our landmark 10th anniversary, the bumper 348-page March issue has been themed “Rated X” – a cheeky nod to our always daring and international content as well as the Roman numeral for the number 10. Ten sections take themes such as “eXtreme” and “eXcite”, covering the hottest Spring/Summer 2017 trends as well as commemorating people, brands and movements from the realms of fashion, beauty, bijoux and art de vivre. Contributions for local and international creatives round up this issue underscored by freedom of expression.
Our cover is fronted by social media superstar Kristina Bazan (@kristinabazan), shot in the streets of Los Angeles by Alvin Kean Wong and styled by L’Officiel Singapore’s Deputy Fashion Director Evon Chng. The blogger with over 2 million followers on Instagram opens up about the ups and downs on social media fame, and how she’s using her success to live out her music dreams. On the other extreme is controversial actress Lindsay Lohan (@lindsaylohan), who earlier this year went on a #cleanslate2017 social media purge and threw herself into humanitarian work. She stars in an exclusive editorial shot by photographer brothers Luca and Alessandro Morelli in Florence, Italy, in a chapter entitled “Exhale".
