Ami Paris Celebrates a Very French Idea for Spring/Summer 2026
Alexandre Mattiussi closed the second day of Men's Paris Fashion Week.
It's just after 8PM in the City of Lights, under a stormy sky with orange hues, saturated with cinematic elegance. In this suspended and evocative setting, the Ami Paris Spring/Summer 2026 collection takes shape: an ode to joie de vivre that intertwines freshness, freedom and refinement in a wardrobe pervaded by a luminous modernity.
Conceived as a gentle breath that crosses the seasons, the collection celebrates the instinctive impulse of an effortless style, radiating a vibrant energy through impalpable textures, a sunny palette, and bold and self-aware silhouettes.
The lines are emancipated with a natural aura: wide trousers and trapeze skirts with a Seventies taste design airy volumes, while striped shirts, flowing knit dresses, and fitted jackets convey a relaxed elegance, yet imbued with awareness. The wardrobe signed by Ami Paris is structured around sophisticated contrasts: between oversized workwear and the ethereal lightness of organza, between bold colors (such as matcha green and pastel yellow and pacifying shades of buttery beige and cashmere blue).
"This collection is a crossroads of stories, a multitude of lives that cross paths and meet, a natural blend of different styles, a mix of personalities and attitudes. Ami Paris is a celebration of life in all its forms, and this is what I want to share since our beginnings," Creative Director Alexandre Mattiussi said in show notes.
The materials become a story, too. Gabardine blends with summer wool, hammered leather dialogues with raw denim, while oversized stitching intertwines with delicately light argyle motifs. Accessories, far from marginal, become an extension of a stylistic thought: bags reworked with an architectural spirit, hand-illustrated scarves, jewels adorned with Parisian charms, shoes with a sharp line or a meditative step compose a coherent and refined aesthetic score.
More than a simple collection, Ami Paris Spring/Summer 2026 signs a manifesto of emotional generosity, where refinement and human warmth, modernity and the desire to escape coexist in harmony, giving voice to a vision of fashion that is as sophisticated as it is profoundly human.
