Kamala Harris' new role as Vice President has brought another member of her family to the spotlight: her stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff.

When not at world&#39;s center stage, the 21-year-old embodies Gen-Z style:&nbsp;Y2K aesthetics&nbsp;with eco-conscious values, usually manifested through DIY creations or smaller, sustainable brands. Emhoff is the daughter of&nbsp;Doug and Kerstin Emhoff and step-daughter to <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/why-kamala-harris-michelle-obama-and-hillary-clinton-wore-purple-on-inauguration-day">U.S Vice President Kamala Harris</a>&mdash;who she calls &quot;Momala.&quot; She also has an older brother, Cole. She has spoken openly about growing up with three parents.

&quot;They have good communication between the three of them,&quot; Emhoff told the&nbsp;New York Times&nbsp;in January. &quot;They are really a unit, like a three-person parenting squad. It&rsquo;s really cool.&quot;

Currently, Emhoff is in her fourth year at Parsons School of Design in New York City studying fine arts with a specialty in textiles. She resides in the hip Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick,&nbsp;consistent with the quirky style&nbsp;she emits through her Instagram.&nbsp;

She was recently signed as a model by IMG.

Last week, IMG signed Emhoff as one of their newest models. The company represents some of the biggest names like Bella and <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/gigi-hadid-s-cool-new-mom-style-moments">Gigi Hadid,</a> and have made several efforts as of late to scoop up emerging talent, including some TikTok stars.

Emhoff&#39;s Miu Miu moment on Inauguration Day was almost a &quot;coming out&quot; for her as a Gen-Z fashionista. The houndtooth coat, embellished with golden crystals, was a major talking point for those watching the event at home. She paired the garment with a red Batsheva dress and black Loeffler Randall headband.

Not only does the young style star knit her own clothes, but she has also started selling some of her handmade works. Her website is currently &quot;under construction&quot; and not accepting commissions, but she often posts her creations on Instagram.

Like fellow Gen-Z model Kaia Gerber, Emhoff started giving herself&nbsp;tattoos&nbsp;during quarantine. As of now, she has 18 (not all done by her own hand) but she has gradually progressed in her skill set.

&quot;I&#39;ve also started tattooing myself a lot,&quot; she said in an interview with Garage. &quot;I did the classic: I did my dog&#39;s name, and I did a little flower. [Then] I recently did my first big boy: [a] salmon fish with a flower hanging out of its mouth. It&#39;s super fun. I don&#39;t think it&#39;s something I would ever want to pursue [professionally], but it&#39;s fun to just do it to yourself or do it to a friend. And if you can do it, definitely go for it.&quot;

In addition to her knitwear and tattoo designs, Emhoff also dabbles in other<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/german-artist-franz-josef-baur-presents-the-mid-point-between-art-design-and-fashion-in-vienna"> visual artforms like painting</a>. She has posted several photos on her social media accounts showcasing her work. As far as her favorite artists go, she&nbsp;also told Garage that she enjoys &quot;curated shops&quot; like&nbsp;Caf&eacute; Forgot in the East Village because &quot;they&#39;re highlighting so many artists that I had no idea about.&quot;
