Ever wanted to take a peek into the luxurious life of Karl Lagerfeld? Well, now you can. A year after the fashion icon sadly passed away, his former home on the French Riviera is now up for rent. Just a stone's throw away from Monaco and its famed Larvotto beach, the six-bedroom, five-bathroom villa boasts panoramic views of the Bay and the Mediterranean.

Known as La Vigie, the villa was built by the English lord Sir William Ingram in the early 1900s, and then purchased by the Société des Bains de Mer, from whom Lagerfeld rented it in the later years of the 20th-century. The designer undertook extensive restoration works in the villa, while still retaining the essential neoclassical charm of the property, and used it to display his impressive collection of art, as well as for photography, his second passion after couture.
