Cartier has just unveiled its latest High Jewellery Collection in Stockholm, and while the house is used to going wild with jaw-dropping designs and precious stones, this line is one of equilibrium — a delicate balance and precision of volumes, colours and space. Of the 13 key pieces in En Équilibre, Cartier’s new High Jewellery Collection, notably, seven creations form a special capsule of spectacular cocktail rings — the pieces bring together exact volumes and colours, as well as pure and clean lines. While Summae is undeniably Cartier in terms of colour combination (green emeralds, black onyx, diamonds and white gold), our favourite design at the moment has to be Motu, on which a blue-green tourmaline, and turquoise and chrysoprase beads unite for perfect chromatic harmony.
