Gemma Chan Joins Cartier as Newest Global Ambassador
The actress joins the Maison just in time for the debut of its new high jewellery collection, En Équilibre.
Cartier has officially welcomed British actress and producer Gemma Chan as its newest global ambassador. Known for her elegant presence and thought-provoking roles, Chan embodies the Maison’s values of creativity, sophistication, and modernity. The announcement was made during Cartier’s high jewellery events in Singapore and Stockholm.
“I am delighted to join the Maison Cartier as an ambassador and honoured to mark the announcement at this exceptional display of creativity and savoir-faire in Stockholm,” said Chan. “I have long appreciated the beauty and finesse of the Maison’s creations, and I look forward to continuing this exciting collaboration.”
Already a familiar face at Cartier events, Chan’s partnership with the Maison feels like a natural progression. Beyond her on-screen credits in Humans, Crazy Rich Asians, and Studio Ghibli’s The Boy and the Heron, Chan is making an impact behind the scenes as well. She is set to produce and star in an Anna May Wong biopic, as well as executive producing Rise of the Empress. As a UNICEF UK Ambassador, she’s also recognized for using her platform to champion cultural awareness and humanitarian causes.
The announcement arrives in tandem with Cartier’s unveiling of En Équilibre, a new high jewellery collection that explores harmony through contrast by pairing volume with tension and structure with fluidity. The collection, composed of five exceptional pieces, reflects the Maison’s deep commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and artistic expression.
