Bringing together collectors and tastemakers for an encounter with extraordinary libations.

Two weeks ago, Changi Airport Group marked its fifth edition of World of Wines & Spirits with “The Vault”, an annual showcase held in partnership with Lotte Duty Free Singapore. Hosted at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, the gala event welcomed 600 guests to discover exclusive and extraordinary bottles from over 30 labels. Among those in attendance were actor Desmond Tan and radio personality Sonia Chew.

Drinks were flowing across five experiential zones dedicated to Japanese Whiskies, Cognacs, Single Malts, Wines & Champagnes, and Rare & Fine, the latter being an enclosed chamber that offered a more intimate encounter with coveted expressions like The Dalmore Cask Curation Series: The Madeira Cask Edition. This fourth and final edition in the Cask Curation Series explores The Dalmore's character through the lens Madeira, a fortified wine produced on the Portugese island of the same name, resulting in a trio of exquisite Single Malt Whiskies.

Tales of The Macallan Volume II

Other notable libations include: Fettercain The Vanguard Series Rare — 30 Years Old, a boundry-pushing single malt that expresses the colours, aromas and atmopshere of Autumn at the distillery; The Macallan Red Collection Set of ultra-rare age statements at 71, 74 and 78 Years Old; and Tales of The Macallan Volume II, a 73 Year Old single malt that boasts the redolent smokiness of whiskies during founder Alexander Reid's time. Together, these singular bottles are a testament to the heritage and craftsmanship of their respective Houses.

Complementing the impressive line-up of featured pours were dynamic performances and a selection of artisanal bites, including canapés featuring Kaluga Queen caviar. Standout creations like the kueh lapis with smoked kaya and Kaluga Queen Osetra-Dark caviar brought an unexpected local twist to the fine spirit pairings, elevating the event’s gastronomic experience.
Those still hankering for a taste of the exceptional bottles can further explore the World of Wines & Spirits 2026 collection online.
