Stella McCartney Enlists Kaia Gerber & Kate Moss For SS19 Campaign
Remember what we said about Kaia Gerber conquering fashion in 2019? Stella McCartney would probably agree, seeing as the British designer has picked the 2018 Model of the Year to star in her brand's Summer 2019 campaign alongside supermodel Kate Moss.
The reason behind McCartney's choice? "I have a true connection with these women," she says. According to the her, Kate — who walked in the designer's graduate fashion show in 1995 — is the Stella McCartney woman of today, while rising model Kaia represents the woman of tomorrow.
For the new campaign, British photographer Johnny Dufort captures the model duo within circles, a nod to femininity, the circle of life and the circular economy that Stella staunchly strives for. Both sport organic jumpsuits from the brand's Summer 2019 collection, which also includes the Eclypse sneakers in new colours, as well as new cotton canvas Stella McCartney monogram bags in mini and maxi sizes.
