CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN: EXHIBITION[NISTE]

A retrospective spanning decades of creativity and expertise by the renowned designer will open at the end of this month at the Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris. The Art Déco masterpiece has long held a special place in the heart of Christian Louboutin, seeing as he grew up in the 12th arrondissement where the building is located. The exhibition will celebrate Louboutin's varied sources of inspiration, from pop culture and travel to cinema, dance, and literature.

Held at the Design Museum in London, the first major retrospective of Prada will explore both the history and the future of the brand through some of its most iconic clothes and accessories. The show will also focus on how Miuccia Prada has elevated and transformed the Milanese house into the veritable empire it is today.

Following its immense success in Montreal, Rotterdam, and Munich, the flamboyant exhibition dedicated to Thierry Mugler finally arrives in Paris this coming fall. At the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, you can discover 140 of Mugler's finest creations over the years between 1973 and 2001, from the La Chimère collection to the futuristic robo-woman and perfumes, photographs, and sketches.
RAVISHING: THE ROSE IN FASHION

The first socio-cultural examination of the place of the rose in fashion, the exhibition will cover dressed appearance from 1750 to the present.
