Montblanc and Swarovski Celebrate SG60

With Singapore's 60th birthday approaching, brands including Swarovski and Montblanc are ready to celebrate. The former, which is marking its 130th anniversary, is honouring Singapore with a special product release: the Swarovski Crystal Myriad Merlion. The design is being made available for the first time since 2015, and is limited to just 20 units. Each piece, which features over 15,884 Swarovski Crystals and takes 96 hours to set by hand, is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and has its limited-edition number engraved on a small metal plaque. Available in select Swarovski stores.

Montblanc, on the other hand, commemorates Singapore's diamond jubilee with the Montblanc Meisterstück Doué Geometry 60 Years Singapore Special Edition writing instrument. The piece reimagines the iconic Meisterstück with a platinum-coated cap and the white Montblanc emblem. Its cap top comes embellished with an orchird pattern, which is inspired by Singapore's national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. More spectacular detailing: The date "August 9, 1965" is also inscribed, and the writing instrument's forepart comes with an engraving that depicts the Singapore skyline, including landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer!
