Dyson is having a big year when it comes to product launches. The tech giant has been on an absolute roll recently, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of its biggest years yet for home and lifestyle products. And from the looks of it, they're not slowing down anytime soon.
In the home appliance category alone, Dyson has introduced several new cleaning tools designed to make day-to-day chores that little bit easier. So far, we've tested the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ AI Robot, which combines floor cleaning with intelligent AI software while keeping privacy front and centre, as well as the Dyson PencilWash™ Wet Cleaner, the brand's slimmest and most compact wet-cleaning tool to date.
Both are fantastic for everyday cleaning, tackling the occasional spill and keeping your floors hygienic without much effort. But if you're after something that delivers a deeper clean, that's where the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene comes in.

A Product That Took Time to Win Me Over

We've been testing the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene for the past few months, and honestly, part of the reason for the extended review period was because I wasn't entirely sure where it would fit into our cleaning routine.
On paper, it sounded great. In practice, I kept comparing it with the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ AI Robot and Dyson PencilWash™ Wet Cleaner. I wanted to understand exactly what this machine brought to the table and whether it was worth adding yet another cleaning tool into the rotation.
Turns out, it found its place pretty naturally.
The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is essentially an all-in-one cleaning machine for both wet and dry messes. It vacuums up dirt while simultaneously washing your floors, making it particularly useful for households where messes seem to appear out of nowhere.
After months of testing, I can confidently say that it delivers a deeper clean than the two Dyson products I mentioned earlier.

A Lifesaver for Spills and Everyday Messes

One thing that stood out immediately was how effortlessly it handles spills.
Wet and dry debris are collected separately inside the cleaner head, making disposal much more hygienic and far less unpleasant. Emptying the machine takes around 20 seconds and can be done in a single action, which is ideal if you're constantly juggling work, family and everything else life throws at you.
Parents will probably appreciate this feature the most. One accidental drink spill or dropped bowl of food and this thing earns its keep very quickly.

The Secret Is in the Wet Cleaning

For me, what really separates the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene from Dyson's other cleaning products is its wet-cleaning performance.
The machine offers four levels of hydration, allowing you to adjust how much water is used depending on the job at hand. For the best streak-free results, I'd recommend using Level 2 and above. That's where the rollers and their 84,000 microfibre filaments really start to work their magic.
As someone with two cats, I found this particularly useful when dealing with dirt that had already dried onto the floor. Those stubborn patches that usually require a bit of scrubbing were noticeably easier to tackle here.
Compared with the Dyson Spot+Scrub™ AI Robot and Dyson PencilWash™ Wet Cleaner, I found myself needing fewer passes to get the same result. The difference isn't huge for light cleaning, but once you start dealing with more stubborn dirt and stains, it becomes very noticeable.

The Self-Cleaning Dock Isn't Magic, But It Helps

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene uses a hygienic filter-free system designed to prevent clogging, reduce odours and minimise bacteria build-up.
The rollers are continuously washed with clean water during use, and once docked, the machine runs a self-cleaning cycle with hot-air drying.
That said, I'd still recommend occasionally removing the roller and giving it a proper wash and dry, especially after a deep-cleaning session.
Over time, I did notice some odour build-up, but I don't think that's entirely the machine's fault. Living in Singapore means dealing with humidity almost all year round, and moisture has a habit of lingering no matter how good a drying system is. Sometimes a little extra maintenance is just part of the package.

Lightweight Enough for Anyone to Use

One of the most surprising things about the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is how light it feels.
For a machine that cleans this thoroughly, I expected it to be heavier and more cumbersome. Instead, it's incredibly easy to manoeuvre around furniture, under tables and into tight spaces. It can even lie almost flat, allowing it to reach under sofas and cabinets without much effort.
This ended up being a bigger deal than I expected.
My elderly mother has used it several times and loves how little effort it requires. The machine does most of the work for you, and because it's so lightweight, making a few extra passes doesn't feel like a workout. It's one of the few cleaning appliances she's genuinely comfortable using on her own.

Great for Daily Vacuuming, Excellent for Wet Cleaning

If I'm being picky, I do think the wet-cleaning side of the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene is stronger than its vacuuming performance.
That's not to say the vacuum isn't good. It handles everyday dust, pet hair, crumbs and debris without any issues. For routine maintenance, it's more than capable. However, when I want a really thorough vacuum, particularly in dustier parts of the house, I still prefer reaching for something like the Dyson V10 Optic™ cordless vacuum. A dedicated vacuum simply provides a more satisfying deep clean when dust is the main concern.
What makes the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene so useful is the convenience. Being able to vacuum and wash in one go without switching tools saves time and removes a lot of the friction that usually comes with cleaning.

Final Thoughts

When I first started testing the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene, I genuinely wasn't sure where it would fit into our home.
A few months later, the answer is pretty obvious.
It's become our go-to machine for weekend deep cleans and one of the first things we reach for whenever a spill happens. Whether it's muddy footprints, pet messes, dropped food or an accidental drink spill, it deals with both wet and dry messes quickly and with very little fuss.
The debris separation system makes disposal simple, the wet-cleaning performance is genuinely impressive, and the lightweight design means anyone in the household can use it comfortably. I didn't expect it to become a permanent part of our cleaning routine, but that's exactly what happened.
