Tiffany & Co. welcomed the holiday season with a magical light-up ceremony of a glittering 40-foot tree at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Set to the theme of this year’s festive campaign, “A Tiffany Holiday, the majestic centrepiece draws inspiration from the artistry of Gene Moore's Tiffany window displays and is bedecked with glittering diamond-facet ornaments and the iconic Tiffany Blue Boxes.

On 16 November, guests and clients of Tiffany & Co. joined in on the festivities as Mr. Kiyoshi Takehara (Managing Director of Toshin Development Singapore), Mr. Tatsuo Yano (Managing Director of Takashimaya Singapore) and Ms. Marianne Liow (Market Director for Tiffany & Co. Singapore) officiated the lighting up of the Christmas tree by placing the symbolic Robin Egg blue box on the podium, which initiated an eruption of confetti and the illumination of lights on the tree.

To add to the festive cheer, homegrown band The Sam Willows performed numerous renditions of classic Christmas songs. In addition, customers also got the chance to add a decorative touch to their gifts with postcards handwritten by an in-house calligrapher and were treated to hot chocolate beverages, aptly named “Meet me under the Mistletoe” and “Baby it’s Cold Outside”.
