Piaget Appoints Korean Actress Gianna Jun as Global Ambassador
The South Korean actress joins Apo Nattawin, Lee Jun-ho and more in Piaget’s inner circle.
Following in the footsteps of Ella Richards, Lee Jun-ho, and Apo Nattawin, Gianna Jun is now making her mark in Piaget’s inner circle. ““We are thrilled and honored to now have the verytalented Gianna Jun by our sides and for our new icon, Sixtie, to benefit from her impressive aura,” said Benjamin Comar, CEO of Piaget.
For Jun, the partnership is as personal as it is professional. "Discovering the depths of the archive at Piaget, all the different ways to craft the watches and jewellery with passion and care has been a privilege for me,” she said. “It's an honour to carry on the story today"
Back in 1969, Piaget launched its 21st Century Collection in Basel, stepping boldly into the cultural revolution of the ’60s and ’70s. As fashion began embracing freedom and individuality, Yves Piaget curated a new social scene—an eclectic mix of global artists, musicians, actors, and designers. Among them were icons like Andy Warhol, Elizabeth Taylor, Roger Moore, Brooke Shields, and Ursula Andress, all drawn to Piaget’s daring take on elegance.
Today, that spirit lives on. Piaget continues to captivate a new generation with its boundary-pushing designs. Gianna Jun, with her refined strength and effortless style, embodies the house’s modern vision. At this year’s Watches and Wonders fair, Piaget unveiled the Sixtie collection—an ode to late ’60s flair with a contemporary edge.
The standout? A bold, trapezoid-shaped wristwatch that reinvents retro glamour with sharp lines and polished flair. The collection also features the Swinging Sautoir—a statement necklace with a white opal dial, blending watchmaking precision with high jewellery artistry.
Captured through the lens of Ben Hassett, Jun wore the Sixtie watch and Swinging Sautoir in a campaign that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. It’s a nod to Piaget’s legacy—reawakened, reimagined, and ready for a new era.
