Gucci celebrates love, connection and reinvention in its new Primavera campaign

Conceived by Demna, the campaign brings together a diverse cast of global personalities from the worlds of fashion, music, film and sport.
There is something both fragile and electric about the first moments of love: a lingering glance, a growing sense of intimacy, or a song that suddenly feels as though it belongs only to you. <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/chinese-actress-tian-xi-wei-pursuit-of-jade-gucci-campaign-interview-fashion-celebrity" title="Interview: Chinese Actress Tian Xi Wei on Gucci, Pursuit of Jade, and What's Next" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gucci</a> captures this universal feeling in Gucci Primavera, a campaign that explores the beauty of new beginnings and meaningful connections.
Directed by Johan Renck, the campaign's short film begins with a group of strangers gathered in the same space. At the centre of the crowd, Kate Moss lip-syncs to Chris Isaak's Wicked Game. Gradually, the music becomes a catalyst for connection. Eyes meet, bodies move closer and gestures begin to mirror one another.

And We Shall Dance Again: Gucci Primavera

On the dance floor, strangers become companions, and chance encounters slowly develop into love stories. Gucci Primavera captures that subtle, almost indescribable moment when a person becomes an encounter and an encounter becomes an emotion.
The celebration of human connection continues through a series of portraits by photographer Michal Chelbin. Shot with an intimate, almost painterly quality, the ten personalities appear to step out of a reimagined Renaissance. Classical compositions, poses and theatrical elements are brought into a contemporary setting, giving each portrait its own distinctive character.
The campaign features Gucci ambassadors Xiao Zhan, <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/jin-rm-custom-gucci-bts-world-tour-arirang" title="See BTS Jin's and RM's Custom Gucci Looks for BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BTS' Jin</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/aespa-ningning-named-gucci-global-brand-ambassador" title="aespa NINGNING Named Gucci Global Brand Ambassador" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aespa's Ningning</a>, alongside Tom Brady, Alex Consani, EsDeeKid, Lee Young Ae, Shawn Mendes, Rico Nasty and Tarzzan. Bringing together figures from music, film, fashion and sport, the cast reflects Gucci's growing embrace of different forms of creativity, beauty and self-expression.

Beyond the campaign imagery, Gucci Primavera accompanies the collection unveiled at Demna's first runway show for Gucci. The collection marks the beginning of a new chapter while remaining connected to the House's past. Gucci's heritage is reimagined with greater freedom, lightness and movement, treated as something living that can evolve without being forgotten.
Perhaps that is the campaign's greatest strength: its belief in constant reinvention. Moving between Renaissance references and the energy of the dance floor, between memory and the promise of the future, Gucci Primavera treats the past as a starting point rather than a final destination.
It is Gucci's way of looking ahead while celebrating something timelessly human: the desire to meet, connect and, perhaps, fall in love.
