As Pride month approaches, Reinhart took to Instagram to announce her bisexuality and her support for the LGBTQ+ and Black Lives Matter communities.

Lili Reinhart is opening up to fans about a part of her life she has never shared before.&nbsp;Just a few days ago, the Riverdale star took to Instagram Stories to&nbsp;announce&nbsp;that she identifies as a &quot;proud bisexual woman&quot;. She&nbsp;joins&nbsp;the list of celebrities such as Halsey, Kristen Stewart, and Bella Thorne, who have been vocal about their fluid approach to sexuality and&nbsp;labels.

Reinhart avidly uses social media as a channel of communication to her large following (24 million followers on Instagram and counting). She has used her platform to speak up on <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/lili-reinhart-is-navigating-her-mental-health-through-poetry">mental health awareness</a> and her personal struggle with body image. After her <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/a-definitive-guide-to-every-celebrity-break-up-of-2020">recent breakup</a>&nbsp;with Riverdale co-star Cole Sprouse, her partner of nearly three years, Reinhart has flown under the radar. However, amidst the fight against police brutality&nbsp;and social injustice, the 23-year-old has used her voice to support the protests in response to the death of George Floyd.

Earlier this week, Reinhart shared a flyer for a protest that supports the LGBTQ+&nbsp;for <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/these-are-the-fashion-and-beauty-brands-supporting-the-black-lives-matter-movement">Black Lives Matter</a> community. &ldquo;Although I&rsquo;ve never publicly announced it, I am a proud bisexual woman. And I will be joining this protest,&quot; she wrote along with the image.

Reinhart also took to Twitter to share her thoughts on racial discrimination in the USA and the need for police reform. &quot;I want to say that I am ashamed of the racism that exists in this country. We are taught to look at our police officers as helpful and friendly when we learn about &#39;leaders&#39;&nbsp;in elementary school. Our &#39;leaders&#39;&nbsp;have failed us,&quot;&nbsp;she tweeted on June 1.

&quot;I can&#39;t begin to imagine the horror of worrying that you won&#39;t be protected by your &#39;leaders&#39; because of the colour of your skin. I know that white privilege exists and I could never fully understand what it&#39;s like to be oppressed because of my&nbsp;race,&quot; she added. &quot;I don&#39;t have the right words, but I stand by you. #BlackLivesMatter.&quot;
