Jiu Zhuang
Surrounded by antiques, carved wooden chairs and traditional hanging lanterns in the cosy chinoiserie-style main bar of Jiu Zhuang, you’re bound to be transported back to 1920's Shanghai. The selection of drinks is certainly not to be sniffed at: Besides traditional Chinese spirits such as mao tai and nu er hong, there are exclusive tipples such as 1994 vintages of First Growth Bordeaux wines and the Daiginjo Premium sake with gold flakes exclusively bottled for Singapore. Pair them with handmade dim sum – especially the signature Jiu Zhuang xiao long bao with whisky infusion and crystal dumpling with truffle-infused shrimp meat – and you’re well on your way to a satisfying night.
