The star of the high jewellery necklace — which took over 1,800 hours to complete — is a staggering Colombian emerald that's cradled by a graphic, diamond-studded serpent.

<p>All eyes were on Zendaya at the red carpet premiere of Denis Villeneuve&rsquo;s Dune &mdash; not least because of the stunning Bulgari necklace she wore. It was the first time the world got to see the house&#39;s Magnifica Hypnotic Emerald necklace, an all-new creation featuring Bulgari&#39;s signature serpent motif and a show-stopping 93.83-carat cabochon-cut Colombian emerald.</p>

<p>The necklace&#39;s body is equally mesmerising. Pav&eacute;-set diamonds, diamond baguettes and emerald cabochons make up the sinuous serpent that coils around the neck. To finish off her look, Zendaya wears a pair of uncomplicated diamond studs and an elegant emerald ring, both from Bulgari.</p>

<p>Since the debut of the Serpenti collection in 1940, the snake has been an inextricable part of Bulgari&#39;s heritage. For Bulgari, the snake is a symbol of power, seduction and unstoppable change &mdash; all elements that the house harnesses in its bold designs.</p>

<p>Zendaya wasn&#39;t the only one who came glided in Bulgari for the festival. Spanish actress Ester Exp&oacute;sito opted for a pared-back, all-Serpenti look, matching a classic diamond bracelet with a pair of complementary earrings and ring.</p>
