Women’s basketball had a major moment in 2023, with the last season of the WNBA delivering record-breaking viewership, attendance and online chatter. To keep the momentum going, the league now introduces its first official watch in its relatively young history. The Tissot Seastar Wilson WNBA timepieces combine the best of its collaborators, from the timekeeping expertise of Tissot, to Wilson’s innovative and official WNBA basketball, and the growing cultural influence of the WNBA.

Available with a Powermatic 80 or quartz movement, both models come dressed in the orange and white livery of the WNBA. The interchangeable orange and white straps are crafted from Wilson’s Evo-NXT premium composite material, the same used in the Official Basketball of the WNBA, and can easily be swapped by clipping it onto or off the case. Tissot’s status as the official timekeeper of the NBA and WNBA shot clocks is represented on the rotating bezel, which highlights the 24-second window within which the team in possession of the ball must shoot for the basket.

Both 40mm special editions have a sporty personality that perfectly complements the Seastar range. The Powermatic model showcases a black circular brushed dial and mineral bezel, in contrast to the all-white quartz version. The watches have a water resistance up to 30 bar (300m), with Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers for visibility under low-light conditions.
