South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo has been revealed to be the new ambassador of Chaumet in Asia. The 37-year-old was also annouced to be the face of Korean beauty brand Sulwhasoo earlier this year, after her fairy-tale wedding to her Descendants of the Sun co-star Song Joong Ki in 2017.

Song is known to be a woman with elegance and conviction and one thing she shares with the House of Chaumet is the spirit of grace and character.

Since its founding in 1780 in Paris, the maison became the official jeweller to Napoléon and Empress Josephine. For hundreds of years, the high jewellery savoir-faire of Chaumet has been passed down through generations of jewellers and until today, its jewellery and watchmaking creations reflect these exceptional skills and pay tribute to the Parisian style.
