2022 has been a stellar year for fashion collaborations. The powerhouse of sportswear, Adidas, has revealed multiple enthralling partnerships, and the Rimowa x Adidas collection is no exception. As Adidas traverses into the realm of travelling, it is only befitting that the alliance unites for an outdoor-inspired collection. 
At the forefront of their respective fields, Adidas and Rimowa set on a creative collaboration that celebrates their German roots and craftsmanship. Exclusively designed and manufactured in Germany, the cross-category collection highlights its utilitarian aspects, setting itself up as the perfect companion for navigating the cities of today.&nbsp;

Comprising a contemporary pair of sneakers and a travel case, the accessories take on a tonal palette of earthy tones and a lustrous shade of titanium, enhanced with orange accents for a striking pop of colour. Harnessing their innovative forces, the Rimowa x Adidas NMD Backpack boasts new technical solutions that provide ease of mobility for urbanising explorers. Rendered in Rimowa's signature groove aluminium, the bag is designed with padded utility shoulder straps, fitted with a carabiner and thumb loops to rope weight-bearing straps and grab handles. Bringing its performance to the next level, the ergonomic piece is overlaid with the iconic Adidas Boost foam on the grooved surfaces of the backpack to ensure maximum comfort. An elasticated webbing runs through the middle to secure the backpack onto the suitcase&rsquo;s telescopic tubes. On the interior of the case, you will find two deep zipped pockets, as well as a 16-inch laptop pocket inscribed with both brands&rsquo; logos.

Keeping the outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the matching Adidas NMD_S1 sneakers sport a similar khaki and titanium hue. Crafted for a modern active lifestyle, the revamped look features the futuristic sneaker&rsquo;s signature Primeknit uppers in a titanium-inspired colourway, with the flexible Adidas Boost midsole in a light, almost translucent base. Bursts of orange poke through the laces with the Adidas Trefoil logo punctuated on the tongue as well as Rimowa's logo embedded on the heel tabs. On the underside of the footwear, the midsole imprints coordinates of Germany as a nod to their German origin that signifies the momentous union.&nbsp;

The Rimowa x Adidas NMD_S1 in Titanium ($380) and the Rimowa x Adidas NMD_ Backpack in Titanium ($2,670) will be available in limited quantities at all Rimowa stores islandwide.
