OFF-WHITE™ has teamed up with Undercover, bringing a new range of t-shirts, hoodies, zip-ups, athletic shorts, denim, and a waist bag.
The collection reflects the combined talents and minds of both designers - Virgil Abloh of OFF-WHITE™ and Jun Takahashi of Undercover. Traditional OFF-WHITE™ markings are reinterpreted by Takahashi, resulting in primarily black, white, red, and yellow graphics, named "dark matter" by the designers. Undercover's iconic apple shaped symbol GILAPPLE is reimagined as well, this time filled with snakes, hunched skeletons, and clawed hands.
The 2 brand names were also put together to form 'UNDEROFFWHITECOVERS', a name that is seen across striking pieces like hoodies, t-shirts, and athletic shorts in the collection.
'UNDEROFFWHITECOVERS' is used as the slogan for the campaign, which takes inspiration from '80s and '90s Japanese comedy, and features Japanese actors Naoto Takenaka and Eri Fuse in a range of comical role-play imageries. Check out campaign images with the actors below:
