Homegrown fashion label Love, Bonito has made headlines for becoming part of the BoF500 Class of 2023. Chances are you&rsquo;ve heard of Love, Bonito, known for its feminine silhouettes designed specifically for the Asian woman. Since its establishment in 2010, Love, Bonito has put female empowerment at the forefront of their business, which drives its vision and purpose. Popularised by its affordable and trendy high-street designs, the mainstay brand run by Co-founder Rachel Lim and CEO Dione Song has now become a leading success story in the local and regional fashion scenes.

Curated by the editors of The Business of Fashion, the BoF500 is a prestigious index of people who have shaped the fashion industry. The list which started off with 500 people in 2013 now has over 1,200 members, from more than 70 different nationalities. Members are divided into eight roles: Designers, Creative Class, Executives, Media, Models &amp; Muses, Catalysts, Retailers and Entrepreneurs. Love, Bonito&rsquo;s Rachel Lim and Dione Song&rsquo;s place under the Entrepreneur umbrella in this year&rsquo;s edition makes them the third Singaporean addition to the BoF500 since the first incarnation. The Singaporeans who came before them are Class of 2013 member Christina Ong, the founder and owner of Club 21, and Class of 2015 member Eli Manasseh &lsquo;Nash&rsquo; Benjamin, the executive chairman of FJ Benjamin.

The BoF500 Gala, held this year at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, celebrated the newest entrants as well as the longstanding members of the distinguished index during Paris Fashion Week.
