The French house has unveiled their latest campaign  harkening back to the house’s classic elegance

If there&rsquo;s anything that these unpredictable times have told us, it&rsquo;s that sometimes the simplest things do really work best. Dior has unveiled their latest campaign befitting this attitude, harkening back to the house&rsquo;s classic elegance. The French luxury house&rsquo;s Fall 2020 campaign features Jennifer Lawrence against a grey backdrop, shot under the lens of Brigitte Niedermair, letting their collection do the talking with an austere, minimalist approach.

Captured in December a year ago, the campaign brings us back to memories of a bygone time, one where we didn&rsquo;t know a&nbsp;pandemic was in our wakes.

&nbsp;It is an ode to elegance and refinement, of sculptural beauty and classic silhouettes that have marked the fashion industry since its formation, and the timeless legacy that Christian Dior left behind,&nbsp;combined with the modern and feminine touches of Maria Grazia Chuiri.

I wanted to employ quite a different technique in fashioning my clothes, from the methods then in use - I wanted them to be constructed like buildings. Thus i moulded my dresses to the curves of the female body, so that they called attention to its shape.

This, Christian Dior said in Dior by Dior in 1956, and follows&nbsp;the same philosophy that Maria Grazia Chiuri continues to reflect on for this fall collection. Melding her modern sensibility with Christian Dior&#39;s heritage of couture, iconic piece such as the house&#39;s Bar Jacket are&nbsp;reinvented in various styles and lengths, and follows a palette of neutrals, including black, brown, blue, with masculine inspired elements.
