At Herm&egrave;s, femininity has always been defined by precision and strength.

For the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, Nad&egrave;ge Vanh&eacute;e-Cybulski imagines a woman moving through twilight. She is confident, sharp and free. Her silhouettes are pure and purposeful, shaped by the quiet interplay between shadow and light.
As daylight fades, a strange stillness settles in. This fleeting moment between day and night has long been known as twilight. It is within this in-between space that <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/grace-wales-bonner-hermes-menswear-creative-director" title="Grace Wales Bonner Named Herm&egrave;s Menswear's Creative Director" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Herm&egrave;s</a> sets the tone for its latest collection.
For the show, Vanh&eacute;e-Cybulski transformed the stables of the Republican Guard in Paris&rsquo; Marais district into a dreamlike nocturnal clearing. Beneath a star-filled sky, guests sat around a soft carpet of moss and lichen, as if the city had quietly disappeared into an imagined forest.
The collection, titled Between Dog and Wolf, takes inspiration from that ambiguous moment when shapes blur and the senses sharpen. The silhouettes appear almost as if they are stepping out of the forest. They belong to purposeful walkers dressed in thigh-high flat boots and jodhpurs, moving with an easy, confident stride through the fading light.
In her notes, the designer describes a woman who &ldquo;steps forward and awakens an invisible world, like Hecate, the goddess whose torch lights the darkness&rdquo;. The reference feels fitting. Each silhouette seems to carve space around it, revealing strong, sculpted volumes through a careful play of light and shadow.
Cut remains central at Herm&egrave;s. It is clean, bold and precise. Structured coats are layered over short dresses with front zips. Leather jumpsuits hug the body with exacting detail. Cycling shorts sit beneath jackets with oversized patch pockets. Jodhpurs, a nod to the house&rsquo;s equestrian heritage, create a silhouette that feels dynamic yet controlled.

The designer describes the mood as a &ldquo;sensuality that is carefully harnessed but never restricted&rdquo;. It captures the balance at the heart of the collection. Discipline meets fluidity. Control meets ease. Every sharp line is designed to follow and enhance the body.
Materials bring their own contrasts. Glossy leather sits beside the softness of Tuscan shearling. Mohair wool pieces open into leather collars. Several modular garments can be adjusted or transformed as the wearer moves, allowing the look to shift naturally.
The colour palette reflects the last light of day. Forest green and deep burgundy dominate, while flashes of sulphur yellow and burnt orange appear like the final sparks of sunlight before night takes over.
In this imagined clearing at the centre of Paris, the Herm&egrave;s woman does more than step into the night. She moves through it with purpose. Urban, assured and always in motion, she walks forward in that hazy hour when anything still feels possible.
