The maison&rsquo;s Women&rsquo;s Spring/Summer 2022 collection basks in the glow of optimism and sunshine &mdash; showcased in earthy colours and stunning silhouettes in the middle of an airport.

Talk about a show that pulled out all the stops. What more did we expect from Herm&egrave;s? If the effortlessly chic collection didn&rsquo;t quite &ldquo;wow&rdquo; you enough, the landing of a plane at Le Bourget airport as the show&rsquo;s final backdrop sure did.&nbsp;
Before the big reveal, the show was staged in an enclosed, dimly lit space with yellow panels and curtains acting as secondary decoration to Nad&egrave;ge Vanhee-Cybulski&rsquo;s latest creations. 
The word best used to describe the whole collection is comfortable &mdash; an ensemble of practical yet stylish clothing for the modern woman. &ldquo;For me, it&rsquo;s really about clothes that enable you to move freely,&rdquo; says Vanhee-Cybulski. &ldquo;I think it&rsquo;s not about going to anything too casual. I think it&rsquo;s about making an effort, but also the ability to move within your clothes.&rdquo;

And make an effort, they did. The runway saw a selection of structured waists, baggy wide-legged bottoms, and crop tops reminiscent of armour in complementary colours such as tan, brown, and muted shades of yellow. The best part? The minimal accessories and lack of heeled shoes worn by the models. Once again &mdash; comfortable.&nbsp;
Of course, we have to recognise that the collection was targeted at younger women as the little shirt, baggy pants combination remains one of the biggest fashion trends to come out of Gen Z and millennial fashion to date. Leave it to Herm&egrave;s to refine it under Vanhee-Cybulski&rsquo;s watchful eye. One thing&rsquo;s for sure &mdash; this collection will be popular among the masses this summer.&nbsp;
