Spooky season is here, and while we scour the Internet for last-minute looks to wear, high frashion brands Dior and Saint Laurent have released limited-edition Halloween collections encompassing homeware to accessories, in addition to reeditions of cult-favorite pieces from Alexander McQueen that fit the haunting spirit of the season.
Dior unveiled its latest homeware collection featuring plates, silverware, and ceramic ornaments inspired by Halloween. The collection features a line of tarot-inspired black-and-white dinnerware with design illustrations by Pietro Ruffo, as well as bright orange ceramic pumpkins in partnership with Jean Roger to complete the dinnerware set up.
Meanwhile, Saint Laurent launched a collection of lifestyle goods from an “Old Gold”-toned steel paperweight to a $6,100 checkers board for Halloween, as well as seasonal accessories inspired by silhouettes of skulls and crossbones. In partnership with Nanoblock, Creative Director Anthony Vacarello crafted a line of dark lifestyle pieces emblematic to the Saint Laurent brand from keychains, to necklaces, to Halloween ornaments, for its Rive Droite collection.
True to its skull motif, Alexander McQueen released a holiday collection with exclusive iterations of its classic pieces including the Small Skull bag and the Jewelled Flat Pouch. While the collection will stick around beyond spooky season, the pieces are perfect indulgences for Halloween, too. The darkly beautiful crystal and pearl-embellished pieces are highlighted in a film by Isabel Garrett.
