Delvaux Celebrates Savoirs & Savoir-Faire in South East Asia
The essence of Delvaux's Brussels Atelier, and a Delvaux Café, arrived in Kuala Lumpur's The RuMa Hotel.
Delvaux's Savoirs & Savoir-Faire experience begins for each guest with an intimate workshop, led by an artisan, armed with his leathers and tools, from the Maison's headquarters. It is here that we completed a chic black Delvaux card case, and the fact sinks in that leather-goods-making is no simple task. The session only makes us marvel more at the house's new Airess shopping bag, which is inspired by the brand's Avia Airess suitcase from 1946, and features precise circle-shaped perforations. Stars and influencers in attendance, like Malaysia's Neelofa and Taiwan's Kiwi Lee-Han, are also enjoying Delvaux's Caprice bag, a structured top-handle. Savoirs & Savoir-Faire features an installation of six black Box Calf styles, which are accompanied by six limited-edition versions, each expertly crafted in malachite, wood, metal, straw, glass and ceramic. A delightful Delvaux Café, a nod to the original housed in the brand's Le 27 flagship in Brussels, rounded up the divine Delvaux experience.
