Travel is par for the course for many top fashion influencers, but being handpicked for Jimmy Choo’s exclusive annual #ChooTravels escapade takes them to a whole different league within the jet set. Last year's pursuit brought the brand to Rajasthan – the jewel of India and land of magical palaces and legendary forts.

This year, eight girls were whisked off to the Maldives, where they kicked up their heels at the Constance Halaveli Resort. With miles of pristine beaches and the sparkling Indian Ocean as the backdrop, Irene Kim, Yoyo Cao, Vanessa Hong, Liz Uy, Anny Fan, Yvonne Ching, Justine Lee, and Jane Chuck went in front of the camera to show the world – #ChooTravels is a social media project after all –how they work their favourite pieces from Jimmy Choo’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

As getaway style ruled this isle, three girls tell us what’s worth writing home about.

My style icons are Jane Birkin, Jean Shrimpton, Rihanna and Kate Moss.

I love the Lockett Petite because it’s the perfect transition bag from day to night.

My travel essentials to a tropical destination are sunnies, hats, sunscreen, cute swimsuits, my phone and comfortable sandals.

#ChooTravels in Maldives is magical. I've always wanted visit Maldives and being here puts me in a happy and relaxed mood. I had so much fun with everyone.

My one travelling tip is to pack for any occasion – like a dress and a pair of heels, because you never know where you’re going to end up.

I’m really inspired by Jackie O. Her taste is so restrained but endlessly stylish, and timeless style is what I’m invested in.

My travel essentials to a tropical destination are a silk dress, a shawl, a pair of vintage denim cut-off shorts, a wicker bag, a pair of cat-eye sunglasses, a straw hat, a book, sunscreen, face mist and sheet mask.

I’m loving the Finley mini bags. They fit all my necessities and the shiny leather gives it a rebellious touch. I also like pairing a maximalist footwear like the Marine sandals with jeans or leather skinnies.

My #ChooTravels experience is unforgettable. I've always dreamt of going to Maldives. The most memorable part was probably waking up in the morning and diving off from my deck into the beautiful crystal clear waters.

My idea of a perfect vacation is lots of sunshine with gin and tonic.

My travel essentials to a tropical getaway are lip balm, sunscreen, moisturiser, insect repellent, sunglasses, sensible shoes, wide-brimmed hat, a cute straw bag, a day dress, and swimsuits.

My most unforgettable travelling experience is trekking through Bhutan and experiencing the spiritual energy of the country.

My favourite multi-tasking beauty item for travelling is virgin coconut oil. I use it as a lotion, hair treatment, and makeup remover.

I love the Veto silver metallic pumps and the orange Lockett Petite with fringes.
