The Prince and <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/culture/kate-middleon-royal-insider-update-disappearance-rumours-conspiracy-theories" title="Kate Middleton Is 'Smiling, Upbeat, and Enjoying Being Out' Amid Disappearance Rumours" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Princess of Wales</a> visited the Windsor Farm Shop over the weekend, while Kate continued her recovery from a scheduled abdominal surgery.

Kensington Palace announced that the princess would be on a temporary hiatus from her <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/culture/all-the-royal-family-member-disappearances-mystery" title="6 of the Most Mysterious Royal Disappearances" target="_blank" rel="noopener">royal responsibilities</a> following surgery. In January, a palace representative stated that the 42-year-old spent a fortnight in the hospital recovering, with plans to resume her public engagements after Easter.
However, according to The Sun, <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/culture/kate-middleton-princess-diana-jewellery-earrings-king-charles-coronation-royal" title="Kate Middleton Pays Tribute to Princess Diana at King Charles's Coronation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Middleton</a> has managed to venture out for some shopping and was recently able to watch her children participate in sports activities. The video updated by The Sun is believed to be the first visual record of Kate since her surgery. But not everyone seems <a href="https://twitter.com/TheSun/status/1769819844466106783" target="_blank" rel="noopener">convinced</a>.&nbsp;
Earlier this month, Kensington Palace released a photo of Kate and her children in honour of U.K.'s <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/living/treat-your-mum-this-mothers-day-gifts-singapore-dyson-chanel-furla-t2" title="7 Ways to Treat Your Mum this Mother's Day" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mother's Day</a>. However, the image stirred controversy when it was revealed that it was doctored.
Kate later addressed the issue and apologized for any confusion caused. On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, &nbsp;"Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,&nbsp;I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother&rsquo;s Day. C."
