Blackpink is Collaborating with Artist Takashi Murakami for a Capsule Collection
The collection will feature whimsical apparel, accessories and even collectibles.
The world of music and art are colliding. K-pop superstars Blackpink are teaming up with graphic designer and contemporary pop artist Takashi Murakami for a special capsule collection. The renowned graphic designer hailing from Japan has designed a special new character called Pandakashi, an adorable panda that aims to bring the creative worlds of music and art together.
The 19-piece capsule collection that features Pandakashi will include cute and whimsical apparel, accessories and collectible items, for BLINKs and for art collectors to get their hands on. Murakami’s distinctly vibrant Flowers motif will also be featured on items from the collection. The capsule will go live on December 10 at 1AM (SGT), and if you happen to be in the States now, the capsule will be available at two different pop-up experiences over the weekend. On December 9 and 10, you can see the pieces from the capsule collection at show-shopping company NTWRK in Los Angeles and at Miami Art Week, as part of the international art fair Art Basel.
