Yes, even those living a luxurious and first-class lifestyle can be afflicted with  common problem of stress, and Gwyneth Paltrow is similarly not left out.

However, the wellness guru has revealed two changes she made this year to help boost her well-being - and both are, well,  surprisingly pleasantly achievable.

The first involves the idea of "conscious breathing" (being conscious and focusing on the breath) combined with short periods of meditation - which can be squeezed in even at the busiest times.

"My focus this year has really been on finding ways to get back into my body, because I've been up here [nods] for a few years," she said at the launch of her pop-up Goop at Harvey Nichols. "Because I really believe that if you go back to your body, then that's when you start to heal and that's when you start to really feel what's wrong; things start to get better."

"So, I try to meditate every day, even if it's just for two minutes, or even if it's just the perception of breathing for a few minutes in my office. I can't say enough about how much conscious breathing has changed my life."

She continued to emphasize that meditation does not require hours of mindfulness - sometimes conscious breathing is enough to help you feel calmer. "Part of the issue of living in today's world is that we all have a lot of responsibilities, and children, etc.," she continued. "So you tend to think of meditation as one more thing on your to-do list ... But sometimes you just need to breathe consciously to get back into your body."

While Paltrow has often extolled the virtues of high-energy training, the second change she has made this year is to continue exercising - but at a smoother pace. "I realized that I process emotion and frustration moving my body," she explained. "So, I started walking more - just going out and walking every day. Those are the two changes I made recently."

Walking more and practising conscious breathing? Sounds like simple enough activities that we can implement in our daily lives!
