A.M Aesthetics’ Dr Terence Tea on the Appeal of Aesthetic Treatments
In this exclusive interview, we speak to A.M Aesthetics’ founder Dr Terence Tea on the inspiration behind his aesthetic clinic, its uniqueness, and the appeal of medical aesthetics in this day and age.
Despite his background in electrical engineering, A.M Aesthetics’ founder Dr Terence Tea has found his calling in the field of medical aesthetics. “As someone from the electrical engineering sector, I am very familiar and well in touch with technology and data,” says the entrepreneur and businessman. “Having said that, the medical aesthetics industry also relies heavily on these two factors. Along with my inner motivation to help others boost their own self-confidence, I was able to reach out and venture into this field.”
Priding itself on its technology-driven treatments and Korean skincare products, we find out the motivations behind these factors by the founder himself below.
Tell us what inspired you to create your own aesthetic clinic.
Personally, I feel that I am my own result of a makeover transformation. Hence, I aspire to make others feel good and build their self-confidence as well as by helping them to look better and more youthful than they already are.
What do you think makes an exceptional aesthetic clinic?
Along with treatments offered, a team of well-trained aestheticians and doctors are some of the key essentials to an exceptional clinic. We have to ensure that we are offering and giving the best services we have so that our patients leave our clinic satisfied.
Why do you think more people are gravitating towards aesthetic treatments in this day and age?
I would say that more people are looking toward boosting their confidence and self-esteem, which is what I am about! There is nothing wrong with wanting to make yourself look good and feel good – and aesthetic treatments are one of the best ways to go about it.
How is A.M Aesthetics different from other clinics in the market?
Training, training, and training. Our manpower has both the quantity and the quality – our aestheticians are well-trained in all areas and we have also doubled up our staff. Furthermore, we have formulated our own Korean skincare with cutting-edge technology. Our products are dermatology-tested and are made up of organic extracts as well.
We understand that A.M Aesthetics is unveiling a new treatment. Can you tell us a little more about it and the results it can promise?
Yes, we are. It is called INDIBA – a deep care revitalising treatment focusing on both facial and body use. The unique thing about INDIBA is that it can work as a standalone treatment as well as a complementary one that can work together with others. The main purpose of INDIBA is to offer deeper and faster tissue regeneration. The results that we hope to achieve with each treatment would be – as always, satisfied patients – and more youthful-looking patients.
How do your skincare products complement the treatments offered at A.M Aesthetics?
It complements the treatments due to how it is available at all our clinics. We have observed how most of our patients often seek Korean Beauty products. Thus, we have formulated and curated our skincare line to meet the needs and demands of our patients.
Lastly, you’ve recently won some awards – the Top Leading Entrepreneurs 2022/2023 and the Singapore Consumer’s Choice Award 2022/2023. How does it feel to have your hard work validated in such a way and what are your plans to continue this streak?
It motivates me to expand and grow my company and my team by working harder, in hopes to leave behind a legacy in the medical aesthetics industry.
