<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/a-definitive-guide-to-every-celebrity-break-up-of-2020">Miley Cyrus</a> is no stranger to dropping bombshells, and her latest reveal is sure to ruffle a few feathers. On an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that aired&nbsp;a few days ago, the &#39;Midnight Sky&#39; singer explained she no longer follows a strict vegan diet because her health was being severely compromised.&nbsp;

&quot;I was vegan for a very long time and I&#39;ve had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn&#39;t functioning properly,&quot; said the 27-year-old star.

According to Cyrus, who had been&nbsp;&quot;on the strictest [vegan diet] you&#39;ve ever known&quot; from 2013 to 2019, her decision was further&nbsp;influenced by other health-related factors, such as chronic hip pain and feeling like&nbsp;she was &quot;pretty malnutritioned [sic]&quot; and &quot;running on empty&quot;.&nbsp;

The singer and actress mentioned that&nbsp;her first non-vegan meal in six years was some grilled fish&nbsp;ex-husband Liam Hemsworth had cooked for her (they separated last year), adding,&nbsp;&quot;I cried like, for a long time. I cried for the fish... it really hurts me to eat fish.&quot;

Cyrus now considers herself a pescatarian (that is, a vegetarian who eats fish), and has found that reintroducing meat and gluten into her diet has made her &quot;much sharper&quot;. She&#39;s still&nbsp;open to change, though, saying, &quot;I&#39;m experimenting a lot with my diet, and my body, and my routine and my exercise right now.&quot;

And yes, she knows that her revelation is going to anger a lot of people, but she&#39;s ready for the potential backlash. &quot;They&#39;re going to come for me but that&#39;s okay,&quot; she declared. &quot;I&#39;m used to people coming for me.&quot;

Cyrus&#39; commitment to and love for animals hasn&#39;t budged, however. &quot;I have 22 animals on my farm in Nashville, I&#39;ve got 22 in my house in Calabasas, I&#39;m doing all I need to do for the animals.&quot;
