A World of Experiences with L’Atelier Martell Singapore

Guests at the Martell x L’Officiel Singapore private event were treated to a tour around the space, where the brand’s rich history came alive. There, they were presented with a unique Masterclass experience – The Art of Blending (XO) – reserved especially for members of Pernod Ricard Singapore’s Le Cercle programme.

Guests were guided along by cognac expert and Martell Brand Ambassador Alson Tian through the full experience, learning to discern the tasting notes of each type of cognac from Martell – including Martell Cordon Bleu, the star of the pop-up – and picking up techniques for proper cognac blending.

On 18 May, Martell partnered with the leading speciality coffee boutique – PPP Coffee to create a one-of-a-kind cocktail experience. PPP Coffee’s Head of Coffee, Shawn Tan, brought guests along a multi-sensory aromatic coffee journey through five different types of coffee from a variety of regions.

Through a similar tasting session led by Martell’s Brand Ambassador Alson Tian, visitors then got to familiarise themselves with the distinctive notes of Martell VSOP, Martell Noblige and Martell Cordon Bleu, the signature Martell cognacs.

The cherry on top was the chance to taste the perfect pairing of cognac and coffee through a unique hands-on cocktail-making experience at the Bar of Swifts. Guests were invited to mix their own cocktails, containing Martell Noblige, Throwback coffee from PPP Coffee and sugar syrup. Topped off with three coffee beans, the smooth concoction was Martell’s unique take on an Espresso Martini.
