Ana de Armas' Louis Vuitton gown turned heads at the Venice Film Festival. Here's what went into the making of the dress.

Ana de Armas was a vision in pink at the 79th Venice International Film Festival earlier this September; the actress wore a custom-made pink hand-pleated satin mousseline Louis Vuitton gown to the premiere of Blonde&nbsp;where she plays the lead.&nbsp;
Not only did the film land a 14-minute-long standing ovation, but it also delivered one of the best looks of the year from de Armas herself. Many were buzzing about the stunning sweetheart dress the Marilyn star wore shortly after red carpet images hit the Internet. The actress also trended on social media the entirety of the day, with fans and fashion aficionados gushing over Louis Vuitton's pretty number on her frame.

Of course, a lot of work went into the making of the masterpiece, with a total of 350 hours put in to achieve the final look; each separate section of the gown required precise and individual assembly before its final product. Much like the iconic white dress worn by Marilyn herself in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch, de Armas' dress offered a deep V neck that ran all the way down to her waist and had a bonus of an open back.&nbsp;

As for the materials, the skirt was made using two kinds of fabric. The pleated portion of the dress starts at the waist and disappears towards the bottom of the gown. It also comes with a long train, much like those of bridal gowns. An impressive silhouette to behold, indeed.
