Runway: Moschino SS17

Jeremy Scott goes all out in his Spring/Summer 2017 collection, reinventing iconic Moschino looks to be two-dimensional

Jeremy Scott has always flirted with trompe-l’œil techniques, but he went all out for the Moschino Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Models were sent out onto the runway in dresses that looked like paper, complete with fold-down dressing tabs and all.

Iconic Moschino looks were reinvented to be two-dimensional – from swimsuits, evening gowns to the accessories. Interpreting Jacqueline Susann’s scandalous 1966 novel “Valley of the Dolls” literally, the capsule collection – consisting of a pill-printed sweater, an iPhone that looks like a box of prescription pills capsules and a sweater that says “Just Say Moschi-NO” – will be ready to shop straight from the runway.
