Naomi Campbell Is Officially A Fashion Icon, According To The CFDA
After decades in the fashion industry, Naomi Campbell can finally declare herself a true fashion icon.
The CFDA has announced that it will honour the British supermodel alongside other industry bigwigs such as Diane von Furstenberg and Donatella Versace at the next edition of its annual awards ceremony, which takes place on June 4 at the Brooklyn Museum.
So, who else has received the honour of the Fashion Icon Award? The prestigious award counts Rihanna, Beyoncé, David Bowie and even Campbell's supermodel BFF, Kate Moss, as past recipients.
"I feel a great honor and happiness to be recognized by the CFDA. I was born in London, so my personal style has always been tremendously influenced by the tireless dynamics of street culture and the music scene," said Campbell.
