Perfect for summer are Gucci Lido's bright and spontaneous Jackie and GG Marmont bags in raffia and canvas
Lido is Italian for “shore”, and the word that Gucci chooses to name its latest collection, representing the irresistible Italian summer. A nod to the famous beach clubs of Italy’s coastlines, the joyful Gucci Lido campaign was dreamt up by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, and photographed by Anthony Seklaoui — capturing spontaneity, youth and escapism, the house’s iconic bags are the incontestable highlight. Gucci’s signature Jackie and GG Marmont have been reinvented in straw-effect raffia and canvas for a more casual and fresh summer feel. Of course, colourful GG canvas accessories, such as the Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags, also make an exuberant entrance. The bright and neon pops of colour extend to small accessories and shoes so that one can effortlessly complete the Lido look. A special pop-up can be found at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, on Level 1 Grand Colonnade South, from 29 April to 19 May.
