#LVxFragment at Surrender
Louis Vuitton opened its Fragment pop-up store at Surrender last Friday with a cocktail party attended by 400 guests. Inspired by the imaginary band “Louis V and the Fragments” dreamed up by Louis Vuitton Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones and Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, the star-studded guestlist included the Japanese designer himself, Tabitha Nauser, ShiGGa Shay, Sona One, Richard Kyle, Rosalyn Lee and Hanli Hoefer, The Sam Willows, music lovers and creatives such as Mae Tan, Jane Chuck, Velda Tan, Russell Ong and Mean, all of whom enjoyed the night’s celebration of streetwear, design, music and culture.
Set within the Surrender store at 268 Orchard Road, the pop-up features a façade wall emblazoned with the words “Louis Vuitton Forever” – a signature inspired by the Autumn Winter 2017 Men’s Pre Collection – and a canvas of the Maison’s iconic Monogram Eclipse prominently featured at the entrance welcoming guests into the #LVxFragment universe. The Singapore pop-up store is the second in the world after Japan (and only city in South Asia) to premiere the highly anticipated capsule collection designed by Kim Jones and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Offering a collection of leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, the #LVxFragment pop-up also includes highly coveted limited-edition items that are sold exclusively there for the region.
The #LVxFragment pop-up will be open to public until 7 May 2017, whilst stocks last.
