The exhibition celebrates the house's long, rich history, taking guests through over 178 years of expert craftsmanship, Spanish heritage, and a commitment to a distinct sense of fashion and design. Beginning in 1846 in Madrid, when <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/nct-taeyong-maggie-smith-dakota-fanning-new-loewe-fashion-campaign-ss24" title="NCT's Taeyong, Maggie Smith, Dakota Fanning &amp; More Front LOEWE's Latest Campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Loewe</a> started as a <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-monogram-jacquard-denim-leathergood" target="_blank" title="Louis Vuitton's New Leathergood Collection Embraces the Denim Dream" rel="noopener">leather</a>-making collective, the exhibit traces the early history and subsequent evolution of the brand, following it to its appointment as the official leather supplier of the Spanish Royal Crown, all the way up until its acquisition by <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/diotima-lvmh-prize-finalist-rachel-scott-designer" target="_blank" title="LVMH Prize Finalist Diotima Blends Jamaican Heritage With Sustainability" rel="noopener">LVMH</a> and the nomination of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/loewe-spring-summer-2024-every-look-paris-fashion-week-runway-images" target="_blank" title="Jonathan Anderson Does Normcore His Way for Loewe's Spring/Summer 2024" rel="noopener">Jonathan Anderson</a> as creative director.&nbsp;

Spanning over 1,600 square feet, the exhibition acts as an interactive journey, featuring artifacts and artwork set against the backdrop of the busy streets of Madrid and the front rows of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/all-the-celebrities-paris-fashion-week-spring-summer-2024-pfw" target="_blank" title="All The Celebrities Spotted at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024" rel="noopener">Paris</a> runways alike. Aptly titled, the collection highlights the craftsmanship integral to the identity of the luxury brand, focusing on communities of craftspeople, artisans, and collectors from around the world&mdash;featuring handmade goods from <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/all-looks-dior-mumbai-india-pre-fall-2023-fashion-show" target="_blank" title="Dior Celebrates Indian Savoir-Faire With Pre-Fall 2023 Collection in Mumbai" rel="noopener">Indian</a> ribbon-weavers, to Ecuadorian tapestry artists, to <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/jewellery/meet-the-harry-winston-chinese-new-year-automatic-36mm" target="_blank" title="Meet the Harry Winston Chinese New Year Automatic 36mm" rel="noopener">Chinese</a> bamboo weavers. By showcasing the design and craftsmanship techniques that make up some of the brand's most iconic designs, Loewe celebrates its own legacy, as well as that of the artisans who are integral to the historic pieces.&nbsp;
Crafted World opens March 22, 2024, in Shanghai, and guests are invited to visit the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/jewellery/explore-van-cleef-arpels-time-nature-love-exhibition-in-seoul" target="_blank" title="Explore Van Cleef &amp; Arpels: Time, Nature, Love Exhibition in Seoul" rel="noopener">exhibition</a> for free until May 5, 2024.
