Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that reigning pop princess Ariana Grande is the star of this season’s Givenchy campaign. The collaboration was revealed on social media in May with a series of black-and-white images, featuring the singer as a modern day Holly Golightly. Wearing a cross-back LBD, a nod to Hubert de Givenchy’s iconic design for Breakfast at Tiffany’s, her signature high ponytail is crowned with a pearl headband, in place of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic pearl necklace.
Even if you don’t fall in the Ariana demographic, you’ll be pleased to know that Givenchy has recently launched that very headband for Fall/Winter 2019. The luminous accessory made its first appearance in the maison’s Spring 2019 Couture collection, and then on Gal Gadot and Claire Waight Keller at this year’s Met Gala.
Reminiscent of a tiara, the Ariana headband is crafted of variegated resin pearls and Swarovski crystals set on a curved metal frame. Very Little Mermaid meets Blair Waldorf, and just the right touch to make you feel like a queen. Take a closer look below:
