This exciting new collaboration comprises of two unisex styles that embody futuristic design with intricate craftsmanship, melding together the spirit of the house of Fendi with Gentle Monster's unmistakable aesthetic. GENTLE FENDI NO.1 is a pair of hyper-fashion metal and acetate sunglasses, riding on the waves of the current popular trend of small shapes with bold logos, while GENTLE FENDI NO.2 serves up a bold fashion attitude with metal sunglasses for a fierce and easy-to-wear look.
In true Gentle Monster aesthetic, as seen in their boutique displays, custom rotating installations will take centre stage at selected FENDI and Gentle Monster boutiques worldwide, including FENDI Roma Palazzo, New York Madison and Gentle Monster London and Dubai. The boutiques will take on an industrial and futuristic aesthetic, with the installations featuring a 360° rotating structure with life-like mannequins wearing GENTLE FENDI sunglasses.
The launch of the GENTLE FENDI will also be celebrated with two special events taking place in Gentle
Monster stores in Seoul and Beijing on May 7 and on May 14 respectively. The events include special digital animations, interactive set-ups and will play host to guests, celebrities, influencers and DJs from all over the world.
There will also be a GENTLE FENDI Caffè pop-up in Seoul starting from May 7 until the end of July, where visitors will have the chance to taste the bespoke GENTLE FENDI original Steccolecco Gelato bar, as well as and other custom-made desserts and beverages.
