ERDEM Launches Their First Collection of Handbags & Leather Goods

For Pre-Spring 2025, ERDEM unveils an exciting milestone: its debut collection of handbags. Known for its poetic and modern interpretation of femininity, the brand extends this signature aesthetic into the realm of leather goods for the first time. The collection pays homage to craftsmanship, artistry, and timeless beauty, encapsulated in a single creation — The Bloom.
Meticulously handcrafted in Italy, The Bloom is a masterpiece of design and detail. Its defining feature is a flower bud handle, sculpted from hammered brass with a luminous light gold finish. This exquisite detail draws inspiration from the fluid, organic forms of flowers. Crafted using the lost wax casting technique, a process traditionally reserved for fine jewelry, the handle embodies sculptural elegance. This refined artistry stands in dynamic contrast to the bag’s softly deconstructed body, made from supple calfskin or plush velvet and lined with sumptuous suede.
“I am delighted to present our first leather bag collection with The Bloom bag,” says the eponymous brand’s creative director, Erdem Moralıoğlu. “I began by contemplating the character, gestures and presence of the many women and muses who have inspired the stories in all my collections, as well as my lifelong fascination with the language of flowers.”
The Bloom collection offers versatility with two sizes: the Bloom Mini and the Bloom Medium, ideal for both day and evening wear. The Bloom Medium comes in sophisticated khaki green and classic black calfskin, complete with a removable leather strap for functional elegance. The Bloom Mini adds a touch of glamour with options in cream and black calfskin, as well as luxurious black velvet, each featuring a removable chain strap finished in gold.
