From the debut of the highly anticipated ‘American Horror Stories’ series to new seasons of cult-favourite shows like ‘The Walking Dead’, Disney+ will leave you spoiled for choice in entertainment. Get comfortable as we take you through our top picks of the dystopian-esque survival shows available on the platform.

Series

American Horror Stories

If you’re a fan of Ryan Murphy’s award-winning ‘American Horror Story’ series, we hope you’re ready for the spin-off anthology series starring Matt Bomer, Gavin Creel, and Kaia Gerber. Titled ‘American Horror Stories’ — a tad confusing, we know — the weekly series will feature a different horror story per episode, a slightly different format as compared to its former.

The first three episodes are currently showing on Disney+.

Helstrom

Here’s one for the Marvel fans. Helstrom is a standalone series based on Marvel Comic characters Daimon and Santana (Ana) Helstrom, powerful siblings and hunters who track down notorious beings. If you need a break from the superhero-esque action from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this anti-hero series might be just what you’re looking for.

All 10 episodes of Helstrom are available on Disney+.
