Hyun Bin & Son Ye-jin Spotted at MLB Seoul Series with Gong Yoo & Lee Dong-wook

Where celebrity couples are concerned, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin certainly has a soft spot in the hearts of many. The top South Korean actors starred in the global hit K-drama Crash Landing on You where onscreen romance quickly turned into romance in real life, much to the delight of fans. And when it was announced that the two stars were tying the knot back in March 2022, it felt like we were watching as romance K-drama unfold in front of our very eyes. 

Since the birth of their first son, the celebrity couple have been keeping very private, focusing their time on raising their child. Hence, fans were surprised and happy to see that the two stars were spotted at Day 2 of the 2024 Major League Baseball World Tour: Seoul Series, enjoying the game together in the crowd. Fans were even more excited to find out that the pair with another "celebrity couple" known for their impeccable onscreen chemistry, Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook. The latter stars became an iconic duo since their hit 2016 series, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, after which they became good friends behind the lens.

These four weren't the only big names that were spotted at the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series that spanned over two days as South Korea became the first stop of the Major League Baseball season's world tour. The tour will be making stops in Mexico City, London and the Dominican Republic. The big sporting event was seen attended by other big celebrities such as ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo, Ji Sung, Lee Bo-young, Ok Taecyeon and many more. 

 

The scale of the event was also reflected in the pre-game show which was highly buzzed about with popular K-pop girl groups, Aespa and (G)-IDLE who performed special stages on day one and two respectively. The two top girl groups pulled out all the stops for their pre-game performances with lasers and impressive dance formations, reminiscent of a Super Bowl Halftime Show. Aespa performed a live band version of their hits "Drama" and "Next Level' while (G)-IDLE sang a medley of their own hits, "Super Lady", "Tomboy" and "Queencard".
