Crafted by the acclaimed writer Park Ji-eun, known for her works such as the iconic hit <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/beauty/hyun-bin-debuts-as-the-new-face-of-tom-ford-beauty" title="Hyun Bin Debuts as the New Face of Tom Ford Beauty" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Crash Landing on You</a>, My Love From the Star, and Producer, the drama intricately weaves the tale of Hong Hae-in (portrayed by Kim Ji-won), a scion of the Queens Group conglomerate and the reigning queen of a department store, and Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun), the son of Yongduri's supermarket owner. Their tumultuous three-year marriage becomes the focal point, tracing the arduous journey of reigniting their love.

At the script reading, which marked the inaugural gathering of the cast, the collaborative efforts of writer Park Ji-eun, directors Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won, and the lead actors were brought the characters to life. Kim Soo-hyun artfully conveyed the nuanced emotions of Baek Hyun-woo, intimidated by the might of his wife's chaebol family while maintaining a calm exterior. Conversely, Kim Ji-won embodied the role of Hong Hae-in, the sharp and cynical CEO of Queens Group's department store.
