We could all do with some excitement in our lives, and if that excitement comes in the form of a binge-worthy series, who’s complaining?
ADAMAS
OG fans of K-dramas will recognise Ji Sung from Kill Me, Heal Me (2015). The accomplished actor is back in an intense double-role in ADAMAS, where he plays twin brothers trying to clear their father’s name from a false murder charge. He stars alongside Seo Ji-hye, Lee Soo-kyung and Heo Sung-tae (the villainous Player 101 Jang Deok-su in Netflix’s Squid Games) in the multi-genre drama.
Directed by Park Seung-woo, this Korean series is dark and action-packed but also peppered with comedic moments. While not something that all of us might notice, those with a keen eye will also be able to see that the post-production work on ADAMAS takes the effect of the noir series to the next level, through careful CGI and sound production.
New episodes of ADAMAS air every Wednesday and Thursday night on Disney+.
