For CEO, founder and formulator Peter Thomas Roth, skincare has always been a part of him. During the 1800s and early 1900s, his family owned and operated two spa resorts in Hungary. People would travel from afar just to soak in these mineral-rich thermal waters for its soothing, reparative and anti-ageing properties. 

Fountain of Youth

Today, Roth uses ancient thermal water from a secret spring deep below Hungary’s Carpathian Valley. Here, the earth’s crust is thinner and allows the water to absorb more minerals as it bubbles to the surface, which helps to nourish and hydrate the skin with vital nutrients. 

Potent Infusion

A blend of natural Hungarian botanicals such as sunflower, apricot, peach, rosehip seed, almond, pomegranate, elderberry, jojoba, olive and shea extracts help to replenish, nourish, and moisturise skin. Bioengineered botanicals Gatuline® RC (from beech tree buds) and Merospheres-V (from rosemary) help to improve the look of fine lines and texture as well as visibly restore the skin’s natural moisture levels, strength and smoothness.

Turn up the Heat

After applying it onto clean, dry skin, leave the mask on for up to three minutes before massaging it in with wet fingertips. This will activate the flash of heat, which creates a soothing, spa-like warming sensation on the skin while kaolin clay and magnesium sulfate help open pores and draw out impurities. Rinse the mask off when the heat diminishes to reveal smoother, plumper and healthier skin.
