After the sudden death of fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa in November 2017, the fashion world mourned.
A year later, the Azzedine Alaïa Association is preparing to launch a cultural space in honour of the stylist, located in Paris.
The new venture will house a café, a small boutique, an exhibition venue, a bookstore and interior pieces, including furniture, from Alaïa's private collection.
The ultimate book store also will offer rare book finds. "Everything is very unique, one of each, rare and difficult to find," says Carla Sozzani, editor of Vogue Italy and a personal friend of the family.
The Association Azzedine Alaïa bookstore is located at 18 rue de la Verrerie, 75004 Paris and is open daily from 11am to 7pm.
