Earlier this year, Prada and Adidas unveiled their first sneaker: an all-white Superstar. And now, their second latest drop follows this collaboration with added colour and dimension, in a trio of new colourways: monochrome black, white with black, and chrome silver with white.

The modern, streamlined silhouette of the adidas Originals Superstar sneaker, which was first created in 1969, is now translated into buttery, full-grain Italian leather luxuriously handmade in Prada's Marche region workshops, and comes alongside the dual logos of Prada and adidas Originals.

The shoes are set to go sale on September 8 at Prada and Adidas stores worldwide.

Dior x Air Jordan

Earlier at the Dior Fall 2020 menswear show in Miami, Kim Jones came together with Air Jordan to come up with an exclusive capsule titled Air Dior, featuring the handmade USD$2,000 basketball sneaker, the Dior Air Jordan 1. And this much anticipated collaboration is finally here - in a campaign featuring Travis Scott, it features the Dior Air Force in white and grey blocking colourway, and Nike’s signature swoosh in the repeating Dior logo, a signature of Jone’s stint at the French Maison.

The collection combines both the effortless, classic elegance of Micheal Jordan's first silhouette with Kim Jone's craftsmanship, elevating a performance sneaker to a covetable luxury object.

The Dior Capsule Collection is now available at select Dior boutiques.

Onitsuka Tiger X Valentino

Revealed at Valentino’s Fall 2020 menswear show, the unexpected partnership comes after Onitsuka Tiger's surprise collaboration with Givenchy last year, and sees creative director of Pierpaolo Piccioli put his spin on the iconic Mexico 66 SD shoes, one of the Japanese brand’s most renowned creations. The sneakers made its debut in the lead-up to the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico (hence the name), and quickly gained popularity for its lightweight, ergonomic, and versatile design.

Fusing Kenzo’s casual elegance with the laid back Californian vibe of the skate brand Vans, the capsule collection between the two brands come in a riotous explosion of colours and patterns across its range of apparel and shoes, where three psychedelic floral prints taken from the Maison’s archive get daubed all over classic Vans silhouettes from top to tread: the Old-Skool low-top trainer and the high-top Sk8-Hi sneaker.

The Kenzo x Vans collection is currently available at kenzo.com, starting at S$325.

Off White X Air Jordan

Originally previewed at Virgil Abloh‘s “Figures of Speech” exhibit at MCA Chicago and at Off-White™‘s Fall/Winter 2020 runway presentation, the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” is a take on Air Jordan’s classic model in a ultra clean white and cream coloured palette. It combines the essence of the Air Jordan 4 with Off-White™’s signature deconstructed elements, such as quote text laces, and see-through rubber elements.

No official details have been released surrounding the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 yet, but is rumoured to drop later this month.
